Staff: Administration entails the Town Manager, Town Attorney, and Town Clerk. For more information about these positions, see the Administration Staff page.

Elections: General Elections of the Town’s elected officials are non-partisan and conducted on odd years. Citizens may register to vote and learn how to become a candidate for public office with the Chatham County Board of Elections by calling (919)542-8206.

Meeting Schedule: The Town of Pittsboro Board of Commissioners meet in regular scheduled meetings the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 7pm in the Board Room, Pittsboro Town Hall , 635 East Street . Meetings are open to the public.

Agenda and Minutes: Agendas for the Board of Commissioners meetings are prepared for each scheduled meeting by the Town Clerk and generally available by Friday 5:00pm preceding the scheduled meeting, and posted to the website. If you wish to be placed on the printed agenda to address the Board of Commissioners, you may do so by contacting the Town Clerk by Wednesday noon preceding the scheduled meeting.

Minutes of the meetings are available in the Town Clerk’s Office after approval by the Board of Commissioners and can be viewed by appointment. Please contact the Town Clerk at (919)542-4621 ext. 24.

Historical Research: Historic records pertaining to the Town’s history from the 1800’s to present are available for research by appointment. Please contact the Town Clerk at (919)542-4621 ext. 24.
